What I Practice

I believe that a key reason clients come to therapy is they are being significantly impacted by adverse life events that they have not fully processed. These events can express themselves in many ways including but not limited to anxiety, depression, personality disorders, ADHD, and PTSD. Below are the key therapies that I utilize to help people heal from their past and become more resilient in the present.

DBT

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT-Informed)

Skill Building

Focuses on developing coping skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.

How I Practice

I believe in respecting the dignity of everyone who comes into my office regardless of gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, socioeconomic status or diagnosis. I pride myself in having the ability to see past societal expectations and see the whole person in front of me for what they are capable of.
